How does web filtering work?
At Cx IT Support we use an Open Source Software Web Content Filtering solution called IPcop.
We install and configure IPcop on a linux based PC and install it on your network. We can then configure what websites should be blocked, and what user(s) should be restricted. We favour IPcop as because it is Open Source Software, the software itself is free! All you pay for is the PC that it sits on and the installation & configuration of the unit. Cx IT Support can then support your IPcop Web Content Filtering system ensuring that the software remains up to date.
